Our roots trace back to the early 20th century, flourishing near booming industrial centers like International Harvester, which began production in 1923. For 60 years, the Harvester Neighborhood bloomed, providing starter homes for growing families and becoming a hub of employment and activity. We’ve had our ups and downs, but today, we’re on a path of rejuvenation and growth.
There's always a refreshing wind of revitalization sweeping through to make our neighborhood even better. From additions like community gardens to new Scouting programs, to projects like planning new bus shelters, we are always looking to enhance quality of life, connectivity, and accessibility within the community.

We're proud of our local landmarks. Adams Elementary has been a cornerstone of our community since 1924. We're also home to longtime businesses, like O'Neil's Glass and Custom Engineering & Fabrication. Harvester Missionary Church, built in 1929, and six other churches offer support and services to our residents from daycare to recovery programs.
As we celebrate a century of community, we've planted a hundred trees to beautify our spaces and reduce noise and dust. This gesture marks our commitment to a vibrant and environmentally friendly neighborhood.
In Harvester, we come from different places but share a common home. We believe in supporting each other, improving access to city services, and building connections to enhance everyone’s quality of life.
Join us in celebrating and contributing to Harvester Neighborhood’s unique story!
